Meet The Teachers

Christine Flores is a distinguished musician, actress, and educator with a robust career in music education and theatre performance. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, with a major in Voice, from the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music in the Philippines, where she graduated in 2001.

Christine has an extensive background in theatre, having been a key member of Repertory Philippines from 2001 to 2018. During her tenure, she showcased her versatility and talent in various prominent roles, including Queen Hippolyta in "Midsummer Night's Dream," Isabel in "Scrooge," Snow White and the Evil Queen in "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves," the Blue Fairy in "Pinocchio," Lady Zaza in "Rapunzel," and the Queen Mother in "Sleeping Beauty." In addition to her work with Repertory Philippines, Christine was also a member of Atlantis Theatrical from 2017 to 2018, further solidifying her presence in the Philippine theatre scene. Her theatre repertoire includes performances with Full House Theatre Company in popular productions such as "Annie" and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."

In 2007, Christine founded Bel Canto Studio, where she serves as the Creative Director, Voice Teacher, and Musical Theatre Teacher. Under her leadership, the studio has nurtured many aspiring singers and performers, contributing significantly to the local arts community. From 2011 to 2014, Christine was part of Miriam College Center for Applied Music, where she held the position of Musical Theatre Club Moderator and Voice Teacher. Her role involved guiding and mentoring young talents in both voice and theatrical performance.

Christine’s passion for education extends to her work at K.I.D.S. Center, where she has served as a Senior Level Preschool Teacher, Vertical Class Junior/Senior Teacher, Voice Teacher, and Musical Theatre for Kids Teacher. Her multifaceted role at the center highlights her dedication to fostering a love for music and theatre from an early age.

With a career spanning over two decades, Christine Flores has made significant contributions to both the performing arts and music education in the Philippines. Her professional journey reflects a deep commitment to nurturing talent and promoting the arts, making her a respected figure in her field.

In December 1987, Jason Zamora began his career as a recording TV dancer with Octo Arts International in the Philippines, as a member of "The Octo Manoeuvres" dance group. He then joined Manila Genesis Entertainment in March 1990 where he served as an artist dancer, actor, and choreographer.

During this time, he was the exclusive backup dancer for Mr. Gary Valenciano and performed in concerts across the Philippines and internationally in countries such as the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, Europe, and Asia. Additionally, he began acting in movies, sitcoms, and drama series, and worked as an assistant director, collaborating with various production houses.

From 2000 to 2010, Jason worked as an artist dancer with Artistation under the late Wyngard Tracey. Since March 2011, he has been the director and choreographer at Artiste Hub Inc. in Paranaque City, Philippines, directing and choreographing for a range of events including school performances, homecoming events, corporate events, musical theater, TV commercials, and music videos.

His additional training includes a 4-week film class at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA, in April 2010, covering directing, editing, scriptwriting, and lighting for short films.

He became a certified Zumba Instructor (ZIN) in April 2015 and has choreographed musical numbers for Repertory Philippines' productions such as Altar Boyz (2008), Scrooge (2014), Snow White (2015), and Hansel and Gretel (2016).

He did Film Studies at the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles, CA, and is recognized as one of the pioneers of the Manoeuvres dance group, with extensive international performance experience with Mr. Gary Valenciano.
