out when they see any flying insects
at our backyard 🐝

This month, we are learning to appreciate our Nature!

We made a Bee Hotel from @goldenacregarden
While putting all the parts together, we discussed these things ⬇️

- Why are you scared of bees?
- What do they do?
- Why do they sting?

Then, we talked about how important to have bees around us.

- They are great pollinators 🌼
- They greatly help in food production 🌽🍅
- They make honey 🍯

Now, are my students still scared of bees?

🤦🏻‍♀️Oh yeah, but having a bee hotel in our backyard helps to remind them that it’s okay to have bees around us 🐝🐝

✨Save and share this post✨
A simple baking idea with your toddler
and it’s yummy 👏🏼

All our @a_right_start dayhome students
loved this baking activity 😍

Most of these ingredients are
found from your pantry ⬇️
- 1 and 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 packet of active yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 3 - 4 cups all-purpose flour

Preheat your oven to 400f.

Mix warm water and yeast for a minute and add the rest of the ingredients.

Knead and let your child enjoy the process. Don’t forget to put lots of flour on your table so the dough won’t stick on your hands.

Boil 8 cups of water and 1/2 cup of baking soda.
Drop the shaped pretzels (20 seconds)
and let the water drip off before placing it on your lined baking pan.

Bake for 12-15 minutes.

Enjoy!
